What Changed
Before this release, when a caller asked about a specific vehicle, the agent could engage with the question but could not confirm inventory in real time. That gap mattered. A call that started with real intent could end without a commitment simply because the agent could not close the loop on availability.
That gap is now closed.
Starting February 2026, every Uobo-Connect sales agent has direct access to live dealership inventory. When a caller asks about a specific vehicle, the agent pulls current stock, reads trim and option details, and provides accurate listed pricing, all within natural conversation, without putting the caller on hold or escalating to a human.
What the Agent Can Do Now
The agent handles inventory queries the way a well-briefed salesperson would, through conversation rather than a form.
A caller can ask: "Do you have any 2025 Ford F-150 SuperCrew in stock?" The agent answers from current data. They can drill down and ask about trim levels, listed pricing on a specific model, or what is included in a package. The agent walks through it naturally.
What the agent provides on every inventory query:
- Vehicle availability: whether the exact configuration is on the lot or listed as available
- Trim and option details: standard features, available packages, and the key differences between trim levels
- Listed pricing: the price as listed on the vehicle, pulled directly from current inventory data
What It Does Not Do
Listed pricing means listed pricing. The agent quotes what is on the vehicle. It does not negotiate, does not offer discounts, does not reference dealer margins, and does not make pricing commitments on behalf of the store. Any negotiation happens between the customer and the sales team.
This is by design. The agent's role in an inventory query is to confirm availability, share accurate vehicle details, and move the caller toward a next step — whether that is an appointment, a test drive booking, or a warm transfer to a sales associate who can take the conversation further.
How It Works
No integration is required on the dealership side. There is no CRM connection to configure, no data feed to maintain, and no IT coordination needed before going live. Uobo-Connect manages the inventory connection entirely. The system stays current as your lot changes, without any action from your team.
This applies across new inventory, pre-owned, certified pre-owned, and fleet vehicles, depending on what your inventory system carries.
Available Now
Live Inventory Sync is active for all dealership sales agents on Uobo-Connect as of February 2026. There is no setup required, no feature flag to enable, and no additional cost. If your store is live on Uobo-Connect, your agents are already using it.
If you want to confirm how this is working for your specific lot or have questions about what vehicle data is accessible through your agent, reach out to your account manager or book a call through the demo page.
